I am an Occupational Therapist, who joined the TalkLink Wellington team in June, 2007.  I come from Calgary, Canada.  I trained as an Occupational Therapist at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.  Later I worked as a community Occupational Therapist in northern Alberta supporting clients' independence in their home environments.  I have spent most of my career as an Occupational Therapist working on a multidisciplinary team in the education system with children with a wide range of diagnoses.  In this setting, I developed a keen interest in assistive technology options to facilitate student’s access to and participation in their education programs. 

My role as an Occupational Therapist on the TalkLink Wellington team involves assessing the functional abilities of clients to support their independent access to both written and spoken communication technology through a variety of hardware and software options.
