Polly Thomas is a special needs teacher based in Christchurch. She also works for TalkLink Trust as a communication advisor and trainer.

Polly has used Clicker 5 extensively with a wide range of students to support their learning and to assist them to access the curriculum. She has also provided training and support in the use of Clicker 5 to many schools and teachers. She works currently with ORRS funded students in a variety of settings and uses Clicker on a daily basis.

Polly is available to provide Clicker training sessions to schools and teachers.

Training includes:

• Ideas on practical, motivating and exciting ways to use Clicker 5 to support students.
• Making grids, grid templates, linking grids, adding photos, symbols and video clips to grids.
• Using Clicker writer features.
• Saving and accessing grids and documents.
• How to make grids that support student’s literacy and learning across the curriculum.
• How to make Talking books.
